Historic England officially objects to Neville and Giggs’ ‘aggressive’ Manchester Towers
Historic England has said it is ‘deeply concerned’ about proposals to build a pair of bronze-clad skyscrapers in central Manchester and will officially object to the Make-designed scheme, according to press reports.

£4M grants for English Museums and Galleries improvements under DCMS/Wolfson Galleries and Museums Fund
Matt Hancock Minister of State for Digital and Culture, announced on 17 January last that grants totalling £4 million were awarded to improve displays and facilities at museums and galleries across England.

Cultural Property (Armed Conflicts) Bill next at its report stage and third reading on Monday 20 February 2017
The Bill would introduce the necessary legislation to enable the UK to ratify the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and accede to its two Protocols.
