The IHBC has welcomed National Apprenticeship Week (NAW), the week-long celebration that brings together businesses and apprentices to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘The IHBC is very focused on expanding its network across all the complex threads of skills – and linked investment – that can secure cost-effective, sustainable conservation outcomes.’
‘Currently this work centres on advancing our Parliamentary ‘5 Commitments to Help Heritage Skills in Conservation’ launched last November, as described in our statement: ‘From Crafts in Crisis to Rubbish in Retrofit’.
‘So we are delighted to be able promote this special programme to our members and networks, as a critical thread for our widening support for cross-sector upskilling and investment’.
