The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has published a series of growth deals in the Northern Powerhouse which are set up to help fund local enterprise partnerships for projects that benefit the local area and economy.
Some of the larger programs included in the Growth Deals include a program for investment in cultural assets in Tees Valley intended to boost attractiveness and support restoration for heritage buildings, and a Hull city centre development plan to renovate empty spaces into better used spaces, and a series of skills programs to develop technical skilled workers
