IHBC features ‘Heritage from the doorstep’: Hemsby man who lost home due to erosion suing government
A man who lost his Norfolk home to the sea will appear in court this summer where he is suing the government for failing to protect him from climate change, reports the Great Yarmouth Mercury.

IHBC features ‘Heritage from the doorstep’: Activists occupy London house set for demolition by ‘not-for-profit’ housing association
Housing and climate campaigners are occupying a house in south-east London in protest against its planned demolition and the ‘crime’ of leaving empty homes boarded up amid a housing crisis, reports the Morning Star.

South Staffordshire Council has received notification from the Planning Inspectorate that they have accepted the appellants’ (ATE Farms) request to postpone the Crooked House Enforcement Notice public inquiry which was due to be held this summer.

A new report for Policy Exchange, on ‘Tall Buildings: A Policy Framework for Responsible High-Rise and Better Density’, argues that the unplanned proliferation of tall buildings has not delivered the housing Britain needs and calls for a more responsible approach to urban density.
