Locals can make their mark on one of the nation’s most important historic buildings as the restoration of an historic building is giving locals the chance to put their mark on the history of Farnham, reports Surrey Live.
Surrey Live writes:
Waverley Borough Council has launched a ‘Buy a Brick’ campaign, giving … the unique opportunity to… ensure that Willmer House’s historic façade is preserved.
… Damaged brickwork will be replaced with identical gauged bricks which are cut and rubbed by hand.
