After Grenfell, UK government transfers fire responsibility from Home Office to MHCLG
The Prime Minister has announced that responsibility for fire will move from the Home Office to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and the change will be effective from 1 April 2025.
