IHBC SE writes:

The day will cover insights into the challenges of conserving our iconic seaside heritage with a focus on reinforced concrete repair and conservation including case studies of Saltdean Lido and the De La Warr Pavilion.

Eminent speakers from Architects, Engineers, Heritage Consultants, concrete restorers followed by the South-East Branch AGM and a buffet lunch. In the afternoon delegates will be divided into 3 groups for guided tours on the De La Warr Pavilion, followed by optional networking at the Picture Playhouse.

This year, we have a few exciting  opportunities to get more involved on the Committee. Our Vice Chair Joao Ricardo Lopez has stepped down and our very own Simon Richards has put himself forward. There is also an opportunity for someone to take on the role of Branch Secretary. If you are interested in one of these roles, or getting more involved generally, please get in touch with our Chair Jo Saady, our present Treasurer Lone Le Vay or Heather Hall, South-East Branch Secretary.
