The IHBC’s 2014 Annual School starts next week and we are still keen to find even more volunteers to help us create a digital story about the school, the talks and the tours.
If you enjoy making video, blogging or being generally creative (it is the ‘art of conservation school after all) get in touch to let us know what you would be interested in helping with. If you have never done this sort of thing before, but would like to know how to do more with a smartphone or tablet for ‘heritage’ related activities, it is a good opportunity to try it out.
We are also looking for volunteers to be interviewed about their school experience, or simply say hello, as we will be making an IHBC video and audio record of the day. Alison McCandlish (our NewsBlog consultant) is co-ordinating the digital activities for the day and will be happy to help you with any files which you create and offer advice as to how to put things online.
Help us try out our digital pilot and let everyone know how wonderful IHBC is!
Our digital record is being designed to complement existing coverage of the day, and will run side by side with the Context and IHBC School website coverage, as Deborah Mays, Context co-ordinator for the School issue, will explain to the Day School.
Come and say hello to Alison McCandlish on the IHBC stand at the school, or get in touch in advance by email at newsblog@ihbc.org.uk or tweet us @ihbctweet on Twitter.
