The IHBC’s 2014 Annual school is nearing the end of booking, with full residential bookings closed – though there are places available for Day School delegates – so IHBC Chair Mike Brown has offered his thanks to all who’ve been helping make the 2014 School one of the most innovative yet.
IHBC Chair Mike Brown said: ‘We’d like to offer a big thank-you to all who have been helping organise, support and promote our School. Not only the major players, such as English Heritage and Historic Scotland, and our main sponsors CgMS, but the exhibitors and our newly acquired ‘friends’, also now listed on our school site, have been helping raise our profile, so people know just what a great programme our Branch School committee has put in place.’
‘We are all looking forward with great anticipation to what our speakers will be offering in this most timely of themes, the ‘art of conservation, while those fortunate few that have been able to make it to the Orkney Opportunity, organised by School sponsors Orkney Islands Council, will have a whole other experience to add to the school’s CPD, networking and learning mix.’
‘We’re now in the last legs of our arrangements, but there are still Day School places, so if you’ve not yet been able to decide about coming along, do please check out our progamme and see what a wonderful array of learning is on offer.’
‘And if you cannot make it, be sure to do what you can to join in the discussions and experience across our digital networks. For the first time this year we are having them all co-ordinated, and new ones developed, under the watchful eye of our NewsBlog author Alison McCandlish.
