Building Design magazine has launched a search for the UK’s worst building in the ‘Carbuncle Cup’, and Urban Realm have launched a search for the next ‘winners’ of the carbuncles in Scotland, all highlighting problem towns and architecture as they award a ‘plook on a plinth’, ‘pock mark award’ and ‘most dismal town’ titles.
Urban realm writes that ‘Carbuncle judges are poised and ready to shine a spotlight on the nooks and crannies which don’t feature on any tourist maps’.
