IHBC welcomes government call to shape the architectural profession – especially the chance to ‘put conservation at its heart’, closing 8/11
The IHBC has welcomed the opportunity to help shape the future of architecture, responding to the Housing Minister’s query on ‘what could be improved’ in regulating architects with a call ‘to put conservation at the heart of the architectural profession.’

IHBC says ‘conserving our places conserves our planet’ as we respond to new IPCC report on climate change: ‘widespread, rapid’ and ‘unequivocally caused by human activities’
The IHBC has responded firmly to the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report – which highlights how climate change is intensifying – by highlighting the urgent need to care for our historic environment, as ‘conserving our places also conserves our planet’.
