ChurchCare, the Church of England’s national resource supporting the people in parishes, dioceses and cathedrals, who care for our 16,000 church buildings and 42 cathedrals has released the latest in its series of reviews aimed at those seeking to maintain and develop their local church.
The document sets out how ChurchCare can help you care for and develop your church building, detailing:
· Training events, such as on the heating of church buildings
· Competitions to support new initiatives (new chairs and new art competitions)
· Grants schemes, to fund the conservation of historic artworks, historic furnishings and objects and high level urgent repairs
· Campaigns for church buildings
