HLF has produced a review of research undertaken by other organisations in the UK – the latest version, ‘Value and Benefits of Heritage’.
Heritage Aliance writes:
HLF has also published a recent survey of completed projects which provides aggregate results from 2005 to 2011 showing the number and variety of activities that HLF projects run, details on the involvement of volunteers, the extent of training that takes place through HLF projects and – where appropriate – visitor numbers before and after HLF funding. Feedback from recent applicants and grantees presents the key findings of 2011 covering the HLF application, grant assessment and monitoring procedures, with feedback from all parts of the UK and across each of the HLF programmes.
A list of further HLF research includes, amongst others, the Plunkett Foundation’s study ‘Social Enterprise and Rural Places of Worship in England (2012). For more information, contact the HLF.
