William Morris Craft Fellowship Trust: Entries by 1 Jan!

The William Morris Craft Fellowship, an advanced training scheme run by The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), is awarded each year to three or four highly skilled craftsmen or women and entries due under this intake by 1 January

The WMCF writes:
The training scheme is spread over a year and in that time the successful candidates will be able to widen their experience in a range of traditional building skills, repair techniques, materials and also prepare them for a position of responsibility.

The Fellowship is open to craftsmen from any trade employed on the repair of historic buildings. Applicants must have completed their apprenticeships and be able to demonstrate a high degree of competence in one of the building trades or associated crafts. Candidates will normally be in their 20s and 30s but older candidates will not be excluded. Selection is by interview, following a written application.

The closing dates for application is 1st January each year and interviews are held in London at the end of January.
