
Direct Access is conducting an accessibility and inclusion survey for Historic England, open to 5 February, to understand the challenges people face when visiting historic sites up and down the country, with online Focus Groups also open across 27-29 January.

Are you passionate about historic sites in England? Whether you visit them or work in the heritage sector, Direct Access wants to hear from you!
We are conducting an accessibility and inclusion survey for Historic England to understand the challenges people face when visiting historic sites up and down the country.
The survey will take just 10 minutes of your time and allow us to feedback to the team on elements to prioritise when improving accessibility.
Heritage Accessibility Focus Groups
Direct Access are facilitating three accessibility Focus Groups for Historic England. This project is aimed at supporting and guiding the wider heritage sector.
- We would like to meet with disabled employees, ex-employees, volunteers, students and visitors to share your experiences and the challenges within the Heritage Sector.
- This will give you an opportunity to provide your views on how to improve accessibility for disabled people across all heritage sites in England.
The groups will be held on Microsoft TEAMS on the following dates and times:
- Monday 27th January at 11am
- Tuesday 28th January at 2pm
- Wednesday 29th January at 6pm
