IHBC’s new ‘Board insight’ for members & readers: IHBC NewsBlogs etc as prompts & reminders to Trustees on recent achievements

IHBC’s National Office reports to the Board of Trustees include our NewsBlog posts as prompts and reminders of recent achievements, as our free and accessible NewsBlogs etc. outreach servicealso serves as a critical and cost-effective resource in our governance.

IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘Each sitting of our Board of Trustees receives a ‘Report’ updating on progress in and around our small but endlessly busy National Office and voluntary Branch and other networks.  That is my update, as chief executive to the Board, on developments across the full breadth of areas headlined in our Corporate Plan 2020-25 (CP25).

‘Inevitably, getting on the detail as well as the ‘big picture of progress’ is a real challenge.  Since 2020 – when we introduced a new reporting system linked – Trustees have also been presented with my selection of NewsBlogs posts as a way to simply summarise the ‘outward facing’ work the IHBC has been doing since the last meeting.’

‘I hope this extract from the most recent report to the Board, with its NewsBlog links embedded, might give readers a useful – if still selective – idea of some of what the IHBC has been doing even across a comparatively quiet couple of months, just as it does for our Trustees.’
