Cypren Edmunds (STBA’s Comms & Events Coordinator) was elected President of the European StrawBuilding Association (ESBA) at this year’s General Assembly meeting at the ‘European Strawbale Gathering’ in Denmark. ESBA aims to promote straw as a sustainable building material in various aspects, including renewability, ecology, health, energy efficiency, and social and economic considerations. Cypren’s activities as leader of ESBA’s pan European Board include sharing building practices, publishing knowledge, conducting research, participating in projects, advising authorities, and disseminating information to achieve their sustainability objectives.
