In order to help the heritage sector’s most valuable asset, the businesses and trades people within the sector, The National Heritage Training Group (NHTG), has launched a consultation on Training Needs Analysis for the sector, and is seeking responses by December 15.
NHTG writes:
The National Heritage Training Group has been entrusted with formulating training provision for the heritage sector and awarding grants to member businesses.
To ensure that we are investing in the correct area, we need your help!
· If you are a trade association: please could you email us and confirm whether you have been able to send out the questionnaire to your members. Also please could you tell us an approximate figure for the number of contracting members you have in your association. Thank you!
· If you are a member of the executive &/or ITG of the NHTG: Please could we ask for your assistance in making sure that your own business completes and returns the questionnaire.
Completing the questionnaire is vital in moulding the future direction of the NHTG’s Industry Training Group, which will in turn we hope be a positive gain for all parts of the contracting sector.
Please could you encourage your business and your membership to complete the enclosed questionnaire as constructively as possible and return it before the December 15, 2011 deadline to:
NHTG Training Manager,
PriestmanWeb, PO Box 759, Borehamwood WD6 9JH
Or scan+email to: priestmanweb@aol.com
If you have additional comments to make about the training provision of the Heritage Sector, please make them known in the covering letter/email when you return the questionnaire.
