A Skills Investment Plan (SIP) for Scotland’s Historic Environment Sector has been published by Historic Environment Scotland (HES) and Skills Development Scotland (SDS).
HES writes:
We’re pleased to announce that the SIP itself has now been published on both the HES website and SDS website. The HES website also carries the Research Report by EKOS which supported the development of the final Plan. The Skills Investment Plan for Scotland’s historic environment sector has been facilitated in partnership by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and Historic Environment Scotland (HES).
It identifies a series of actions to address the skills challenges and opportunities in the sector, which supports an estimated 20,000 direct jobs across Scotland covering construction, the creative industries and tourism.
