At Wednesday’s AGM, among other things Kate Pugh reports:
•4 new Trustees were elected: Loyd Grossman appointed by the Board as Chair. Charles Angus as Honorary Treasurer, Denis Dunstone, Mary King and Ela Palmer. Ian Lush led the thanks to Anthea Case.
•Loyd had earlier suggested a change of name to describe more clearly what Heritage Link is about, highlighting its outward facing and campaigning role. Members were keen on the proposed name The Heritage Alliance. It will have to go through the legal process with Company House/Charity Commission and ask for your formal approval in January but meanwhile they are advised that they can use this as an operating title.
•Two manifestos were launched: Making the Most of our Heritage and the placesofworship@heritagelink manifesto
