Summaries of the Draft National Policy Statements for England are available from Planning Aid
The first draft National Policy Statements – which set out the national need for particular types of infrastructure – have now been published. Planning Aid is working with individuals and communities to help them understand and have an effective voice in the consultation. Planning Aid has published a series of short leaflets summarising the Statements – published on November 9th by the Department of Energy and Climate Change and the Department for Transport.
