Applications for CABE Space design skills scholarships close on Friday 13 November 2009.
The scholarships are open to anyone whose work has an impact on the quality of our streets and highways, parks and green spaces or public squares, and who would benefit from an understanding of good urban design.
We are offering professionals working in these fields – from highways engineers and planning officers to park workers, access officers, leisure and amenity officers and regeneration professionals – the chance to travel to gain greater understanding of design in the public realm.
The CABE Space design skills scholarships will allow people without any formal design training to fund a work or study trip abroad to places where design is central to the creation and management of public space. The programme will enable up to six people to experience good practice first hand. [Link]
