Renewable energy technology grants

Grants of up to £200,000 per site are available to help local authorities, housing associations, schools, hospitals, charitable bodies and community organisations to gain the benefits of solar, wind, ground source heat pump and biomass renewable energy technologies. This funding is available for a finite period under Phase 2E of the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP2E). A series of free events are being run throughout the UK from November 2009 to January 2010, to explain the application process and the technologies involved.
