Derwent Valley ‘Land of Oak and Iron Landscape Partnership’ seeks Chair

The Land of Oak and Iron Landscape Partnership, responsible for  strategic direction, governance and legacy of this highly regarded Landscape Partnership situated around the Derwent Valley in North East England is recruiting for a new voluntary Chair, with applications due in by 16 May.

Would you like to be our strategic leader as the Chair of the Land of Oak and Iron Landscape Partnership Board?

The Land of Oak and Iron Landscape Partnership is recruiting for a new Chair to lead the Partnership which is responsible for the strategic direction, governance and legacy of this highly regarded Landscape Partnership situated around the Derwent Valley in North East England.

The role of Chair requires someone with strategic vision, strong leadership skills and an understanding of the landscape and heritage of the Land of Oak and Iron. The Chair will promote the Landscape Partnership project to partners, the community, and other potential stakeholders in order to generate further support; guide board members and enable them to develop and deliver a long term vision for this thriving partnership which is overseeing the development of the £3.6 million scheme.
