Now in its 37th year the 2013 Brick Awards, from the Brick Development Association (BDA), is one of the most widely respected design awards in the UK, recognising excellence in design, aesthetics and construction using brick, are open with a closing date of 14 June.
BDA writes:
Anyone can enter the awards – architects/designers, owners, developers, house-builders, specialist brickwork contractors and brick manufacturers. The Awards are made up of 16 categories including ‘Best Refurbishment & Renovation Project’, ‘Best Craftsmanship Award’, ‘Specialist Brickwork Contractor of the Year’ and ‘Innovative Use of Brick and Clay Products’.
Housing Awards, Building and Landscape Awards and Technical and Craft Awards. Don’t forget the conclusive BDA Supreme Award and our second year for the Architect’s Choice Award. Projects featuring clay bricks and pavers manufactured by BDA member companies are eligible for all categories except Worldwide Brick Award.
