Two paid placements are currently available for those interested in or studying towards qualifications in traditional building skills: a traditional carpenter and joiner in Sheffield, and for a trainee traditional slate maker and roofer in Derbyshire.
The traditional Carpenter and Joiner placement is at Hector and Cedric timber framers in Sheffield. The closing date for applications is January 4th 2013
The trainee Traditional Slate Maker and Roofer placement is at Heritage Roofing and the Traditional Slate Company, both in Tibshelf, Alfreton. The closing date for applications is January 23rd 2013.
