Partnership working between the heritage sector and academia (survey)
The Heritage Alliance is delighted to be collaborating with the University of Oxford as part of our Creating Connections project. Our aim is to bring together heritage practitioners and academics to share experience and explore what makes partnerships between the heritage sector and academic institutions work. As part of this project, we are producing a guide that showcases the value of academic engagement with the heritage sector, by highlighting case studies and examples of best practice, whilst exploring challenges that may prevent sustained partnership working.
We want the guide to be a practical resource containing practical insights, recommendations and solutions, which will:
- Boost awareness of partnerships and collaboration between the heritage sector and academic institutions
- Help heritage organisations to understand how to build and access research partnerships
- Demonstrate the benefits of such partnerships
Please complete our survey to share your thinking on partnership working between heritage organisations and academic institutions – what works well and what challenges there are. The survey should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete.
NB. this survey is aimed at heritage sector organisations and academic institutions, but can be completed by anyone with experience of relevant partnership working.
- This survey will be open until 1 June.
- Case studies for our guide can be submitted via a separate form by the same date.
Click here for more information and to complete the survey (When you submit this form, it will not automatically collect your details like name and email address unless you provide it yourself.)
- Thank you for your time in responding to this survey. If you have any questions or encounter any issues responding to the survey, please email Neil Andrews at advocacy@theheritagealliance.org.uk
