Success for 15 AHF-supported projects in the final round of the Community Ownership Fund

The Architectural Heritage Fund(AHF) has reported on Government awards from the final round of its Community Ownership Fund (COF) for 15 AHF-supported projects.

The AHF writes:

In December 2024, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government announced the awards from the final round of its Community Ownership Fund (COF) for 15 AHF-supported projects. The fund was set up to help community groups take control of buildings at risk of being lost and bring them back to life for the benefit of local people. These latest awards mean that, in total, 409 projects across the UK have received support from the COF, 76 (or 19%) of which have also benefitted from the Architectural Heritage Fund’s (AHF) early-stage advice and support.

In this final batch of grants, specifically, a total of 85 projects were awarded COF funding. This includes 15 projects that have previously received support from the AHF; these projects, listed below, have collectively been awarded £5,885,411 through Round Four of the COF.
