IHBC features ‘Heritage from the doorstep’: Volunteers work to transform 100-year-old ‘hidden’ building into bothy

Volunteers are helping transform a 100-year-old ‘hidden’ building – named Druimnashallag and located southeast of Oban  – into a bothy, reports STV News.

STV News writes:

Dedicated volunteers have endured working in sub-zero temperatures to transform a crumbling 100-year-old… building, named Druimnashallag…

The building, which was once hidden away in the middle of a forest on Scotland’s west coast, was first built in 1891 and was last occupied around 70 years ago.
