National Heritage Science Forum ‘Consultation on Strategic Framework for Heritage Science in the UK’, online session 21 August

The National Heritage Science Forum (NHSF) seeks input to the next ‘Strategic Framework for Heritage Science in the UK’, covering 2024-2027, with webinar on 21 August open to all.

The NHSF writes:

Work is underway to refresh and update the Strategic Framework for Heritage Science in the UK for the period 2024-27.

Outline of the Strategic Framework 2024-27 process:

  • 2023 – NHSF Working Groups reviewed the heritage science landscape to identify key influences for 2024-27.
  • 2023 – The NHSF Member Council proposed changes to draft strategic outcomes for 2024-27.
  • 2024 – Conducted a Phase 1 Consultation on the draft Strategic Framework with NHSF members.

Now, as part of the next phase in the process, we are running a consultation event on two dates in August to help develop the Strategic Framework for Heritage Science in the UK to cover the period 2024-2027.

This will be an opportunity to hear about work so far to refresh the Framework, comment on the proposals, and contribute to the final framework before it is launched in the autumn…

The Framework is a tool for everyone with an interest in UK heritage science. Please share the links to these events with your colleagues – we welcome anyone from the heritage science community and our wider stakeholders!
