EH distance-learning resource on managing funded projects

Management of Research Projects in the Historic Environment (MoRPHE) is a set of free guidelines covering the management of all historic environment research and ‘research and development’ (R&D) projects undertaken or funded by English Heritage. MoRPHE provides a framework of defined roles, procedures, stages, terms, and key documents to assist the management of research projects in our sector.

MoRPHE Familiarisation by distance learning is a brief introductory course suitable for all those with a connection with research projects, either within English Heritage or working in the sector, or in full time training, and available at no cost. No previous experience of project management is needed.  It is supported by up to date guidance on particular types of project or related topics, and additional guidance can be developed where needs are identified to English Heritage.
