… a great opportunity to meet new members and explore priorities…
The online welcome session will be held on Wednesday 27 between 12.00pm and 1.00pm and will be led by Angharad Hart (IHBC’s Application Support Officer) with David McDonald (IHBC Chair), and Jude Wheeler (IHBC’s Branch Support Officer).
Anyone who wishes to attend should register via Zoom HERE
Leading the meeting will be Angharad Hart, IHBC’s Application Support Officer who said: ‘There are so many benefits available to members, both new and long-standing, from online learning resources and membership support to CPD opportunities and discounts on training. This is a great opportunity to meet new members and explore priorities, so that we continue to deliver resources and benefits that are relevant, whilst also making sure they are aware of what is already available to them as members of the IHBC’.
‘Attendees will get an opportunity to find out more about how the IHBC operates, the membership pathways available and the benefits available, so that you can take full advantage of your membership with the IHBC. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and share your experience of membership so far, and your training priorities.’
IHBC Chair David McDonald said: ‘I’m very pleased to have this opportunity to meet you all and to be able to tell you more about the IHBC and why membership is so worthwhile and rewarding’
‘There will also be an opportunity to learn more about IHBC Branches, and how you can get involved at a local level with your branch committee, with Jude Wheeler on hand to advise and guide too.’
Jude Wheeler said: ‘I look forward to meeting you on the Wednesday, when I can introduce myself and outline Branch activities, as well as advise you on the opportunities and benefits of joining as a volunteer.’
IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘Whilst this new initiative is aimed at our newer members especially, we are also encouraging any interested members across our UK-wide – and global – membership to join.’
‘Whatever your career interests or stage, and whether you are a recent Supporter, long-standing Affiliate or an established accredited member who would like an update, please do feel free to join in!’
