IHBC applauds FREE training in ‘Retrofitting Traditional Buildings’ for practitioners working in Wales, underpinned by IHBC Guidance & BSI Standards

The Welsh Government is funding free access for practitioners in Wales to a 2 day course in the Level 3 ‘Energy Efficiency Retrofit of Traditional Buildings’, a requirement for many working to BSI’s UK standards for retrofit.

IHBC Technical Panel Chair and Course Tutor John Edwards said: ‘The IHBC’s Toolbox Guidance Note on Retrofit is also heavily featured in the course, as well as all latest developments and standards, while participants will also receive a free e-book on the ‘Retrofit of Traditional Buildings.’

Through Welsh Government funding, the 2 day course in the Energy Efficiency Retrofit of Traditional Buildings achieving the Level 3 Award qualification is available free of any charge for those in Wales.

The qualification is a requirement for many working to BSI’s PAS 2035 and PAS 2038, the UK standards for retrofit.
