Manchester Evening News writes (23 December 2021):

A new start date has been announced for Gary Neville’s much-anticipated St Michael’s project in the city centre.

The former Man United star has been involved in plans for the scheme off Deansgate, which has been plagued by setbacks, for more than a decade.

In July, his property firm Relentless formed a joint venture with US investor KKR to deliver the first phase, a nine-storey office block.

Construction firm Bowmer and Kirkland (B&K) have been appointed to build the office building, which will include a new public square and a rooftop restaurant with views across Manchester which can accommodate 900 guests…

The second phase of the St Michael’s project will involve building a 41-storey skyscraper with 191 hotel rooms and 181 apartments.
