The IHBC writes:
Consultations Panel members and receive regular notifications emerging policy, legislation and guidance which impacts on the historic environment and conservation either directly or more indirectly. This will expand your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) whilst any professional comments you feel able to make will feed into the IHBC’s response on the consultation. There is no commitment to respond or comment but your specialist knowledge and areas of interest will help develop the Institute’s response and enhance its credible external profile.
