PAS: Small/sole trader service opportunities

The Planning Advisory Service is encouraging small and sole trader consultancies to register for opportunities to deliver consultancy and support to councils, and calling on councils to encourage their service providers to come forward for registration.

PAS writes:

We use a framework of suppliers to deliver consultancy and support for councils. Because of the amounts we spend, we have to go through OJEU procedures.  We will start the process for the next four years of PAS in July 2011.

If you are a consultancy, please register for a heads up via our website. If you are a council happy to act as a referee for someone you’ve employed recently please encourage them to put themselves forward.

We’ve been learning how to run a framework for the last few years, and we’re determined that we’re going to become more accessible for small and sole traders. We’re also need non-planning people like technical writers, mediators and management consultants.

Register now, and we’ll send an update when the OJEU notice appears. You can then decide whether you want to proceed or not. This may be the only opportunity to get on our list, so don’t miss out.
