The Friends of Lancing Chapel and the College – ‘now in the exciting position of being able to add the final touch to this glorious Gothic masterpiece’ – have announced the launch of the Chapel Completion Campaign as they seek ‘another £350,000 to complete the Chapel’.
Lancing College writes:
Lancing Chapel’s west end story has had a long run. Our architect, Michael Drury, has designed an elegant three-arched porch for the west front to provide an entrance worthy of a Grade 1 listed national monument. We still need another £350,000 to complete the Chapel; work starts on the project this autumn and there will be a service of dedication in the summer of 2021.
We hope that the whole Lancing community will support us and be ‘Part of the Chapel’s History’.
