The IHBC has welcomed Historic England’s consultation on a revised version of an updated version of their ‘Listed Buildings and Curtilage’ Advice Note from 2016, with a closing date of Friday 24 March 2017, with plans for linked engagement events to be announced.
Historic England writes:
In 2016 Historic England published a short note with hypothetical examples to show how to assess the extent of the curtilage of a listed building. We are consulting on this updated version (January 2017) which clarifies and expands the advice.
