In his article titled A revolutionary window mechanism?, Campbell discusses deaths caused by cleaning early sash windows and the drive for safer opening systems, one of which could be found in a listed building in Aberdeen. He also looks at lessons learned from the project and the risks of deskilling through the loss of joinery practice.
