The Communities and Local Government (CLG) Committee has examined innovative management and funding models for parks.
The session focused on how communities and local authorities can employ innovative models to enhance and protect public parks, including alternative funding sources and models, and the benefits and challenges of alternative land management arrangements.
The Committee also looked into the relationships between communities and parks and what is being done to share knowledge and coordinate parks’ policies at local, regional and national levels.
