Historic Environment Scotland (HES) has published two new case studies that describe the repair and upgrade of traditionally constructed buildings and components.
The case studies look at the re-instatement of an early micro-hydroelectric plant at Blair Castle in Perthshire and the conservation works using traditional materials and techniques to a mid-18th century terraced house.
