With the turning of the year, new archive information is made available across the UK, below we have selected a few which may be of interest to IHBC members.

  • Scottish Executive papers from 2000
  • 1986- 1988 Prime Minister’s Office records in the National Archives
  • Records from Central Secretariat and Northern Ireland Office files 
  • Family history records from Scotland with the introduction of 1940’s civil marriage laws
  • World War One hospital diaries 
  • 1939 census records, including maps
