Charles Strang, Chair of the IHBC’s Communications and Outreach Committee, has welcomed the launch of the IHBC’s Scotland Branch on-line Newsletter, available at http://ihbcscotland.org.uk/ saying: “It’s an important new information resource for IHBC members working in Scotland, and like our NewsBlog, will be a touchstone for future conservation services.”
Stuart Eydmann, IHBC Scotland Branch Convener, has written to members, as follows: ‘to introduce the IHBC Scotland Branch online Newsletter… under trial for some time, and is now ready to go live. It is hoped that this initiative will help us communicate not only IHBC Scotland news but also information on events etc. Information on key consultations has been included and there is scope for sharing photographs and other documents. The system is highly flexible and scalable and it is intended that facilities such as RSS and Twitter feeds will be added in due course (for those who may be interested in such things). Please forward any news or other material for inclusion. Also, we welcome feedback on the newsletter at any time.’
