Need a MATE? IHBC introduces free monthly online MATE sessions from 1 July: All welcome (max. 30 per session), including Full and Associates seeking CPD updates and roles in IHBC’s future training and assessment service
As part of the IHBC’s evolving Membership Accreditation Training Events (MATEs) programme, which advises on IHBC accreditation applications, we’re offering free webinars for applicants as we pilot streamlined application forms and expanded resources.

IHBC features ‘Heritage from the (earthen) doorstep’: Johnnie McNamara’s home in Tullaroe, near Querrin is one of the last remaining mud houses in County Clare
One of the last remaining partial mud (and stone) houses in County Clare is being surveyed by archaeologist Dave Pollock, prior to its deconstruction for road safety purposes.
