Designing Buildings Wiki(DBW) traces the history of the gridshell a structure that acts in tension, a lattice frame work or angled grid of individual structural members that are bent to form a shape, often fixed at the crossover points, it is primarily the double curvature that gives a gridshell its structural integrity.

IHBC features ‘Heritage from the doorstep’: Historic England gives £500K to Winter Gardens project

A landmark project to save one of Great Yarmouth’s most iconic buildings has received a major funding boost. Historic England has awarded a £500,000 grant towards the restoration of the Grade II* listed Winter Gardens, reports the Eastern Daily Press.

AHF funds support revival of Jacobs Wells Baths as ‘multi-use hub’
