Portugal: 30 Years of Best Practice in Conservation

A new UNESCO publication showcases projects and approaches used in Portugal to care for its historic sites, and explore issues around education, knowledge and capacity building in the heritage sector.

Case studies include practical work within historic urban areas and archaeological sites, examples of applying UNESCO documentation to these sites and a ‘world heritage in young hands’ kit for young people.
