IHBC CPD in the SE: Knowing Knole (1st hand!)

The next IHBC South East (SE) Branch Day School will explore ‘Conservation Philosophy and its application at Knole House’ by offering insights into the conservation work on the structure, fabric, contents and furnishings at Knole House, and will take place on Friday 4 October as well as include the Branch AGM to which all are welcome.

The IHBC’s SE Branch writes:
Speakers from the National Trust, Sevenoaks Council, English Heritage and conservators will give an introduction to the philosophies informing the approach to an extensive programme of repair work currently underway at Knole House, Kent.

The day will include the branch AGM, which will be held at 1.30 pm to which all are welcome.

In the afternoon delegates will be divided into groups and taken on a series of four guided tours including visits to a viewing platform on the roof, the house interior and the stable barn.

A full programme will be available shortly.

Cost, including lunch and FREE entry to Knole House: £40 IHBC members, £45 non-members.
