The UK Association of Building Preservation Trusts is able to offer 10 bursaries of up to £250 each towards the conference delegate fees, travel and accommodation costs of members of APT wishing to attend the 2012 Conference at Great Yarmouth, from 17-19 October 2012.
Speaking of the conference UK APT Director James Moir said: ‘Have you been dreaming of a late summer by the seaside? This is by way of a full and warm invitation to attend this year’s Annual Conference, to be held in the fascinating coastal town of Great Yarmouth on 18th & 19th October. This is a place where close co-operation between Local Authority and Building Preservation Trust has produced and continues to produce, many inspirational projects, and we are grateful to both the Borough Council and Great Yarmouth Building Preservation Trust for hosting this year’s event.’
The focus in 2012 is on building skills, both to deliver projects and to strengthen your Trust, with a full range of lectures, workshops and visits exploring the theme of ‘Your Skills, Our Future’.
If you haven’t been to an APT Conference before, have a look on the website at how our previous Conferences have been rated – a strong endorsement for the success of this event and an indication of the opportunity it provides for networking, sharing ideas and for possibly refreshing batteries that may be flagging after a wet and challenging year!’
