The IHBC is delighted to highlight STBA’s appearance at Futurebuild 2026 on Thursday 14 May, with Board members, Panel of Experts and sector colleagues in sessions on assessment, moisture management, performance measurement, place-based retrofit, and regenerative futures.

Putting communities at the heart of place-based retrofit

A discussion on how place-based retrofit can support healthier, lower carbon communities through locally informed delivery, collaboration, and long-term stewardship.

This STBA-curated session examines the importance of assessment standards, moisture risk management, and real-world performance evaluation in retrofit projects, with a focus on reducing unintended consequences and supporting better building outcomes.
