As the IHBC’s looks ahead to our 2026 Annual School in Newcastle in June, we are delighted to announce a series of free webinars, all led by expert speakers and linked to the School’s theme, ‘Adaptive Reuse’, an excellent opportunity to boost your heritage CPD, and for free.

IHBC’s National Office Annual School programme lead and pre-Conference webinar host, Angharad Hart, said: ‘The IHBC would like to extend its gratitude to all the speakers who have kindly agreed to host this year’s webinars, giving up their time and sharing their expertise on these highly relevant topics, which will be of interest to colleagues across the sector.’

‘Topics include building control and regulations, hosted by Anthony Gwynne and Professor John Edwards, in partnership with the IHBC Technical Panel, as well as heritage architectural intervention in the context of Adaptive Reuse from an international perspective, led by Alina Holyst.’

‘We will conclude with an exploration of education and outreach in the context of planning around Adaptive Reuse, courtesy of Dr Alison McCandlish, and occasional adviser to the IHBC, and John Sturzaker Director of Careers, Education & Planning Aid England at the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).’
